La provincia de Alberta, Canadá, está llena de oportunidades y hay cientos de empleos disponibles en muchas de sus industrias.

El Programa de Candidatos para Inmigración de Alberta (AINP, por su siglas en inglés) es un modo de obtener de obtener la residencia permanente en Canadá para usted, su esposo/a y sus niños dependientes.

La AINP está diseñado para apoyar el crecimiento económico de Alberta mediante el ofrecimiento de trabajo calificado para los inmigrantes que buscan establecerse en la provincia.

La AINP es un programa de inmigración a cargo del Ministerio de Trabajo e Inmigración del Gobierno de Alberta, en colaboración con el Departamento de Ciudadanía e Inmigración de Canadá (CIC).

Las personas designadas por el Gobierno de Alberta, junto con su cónyuge / pareja e hijos a cargo, pueden solicitar una visa de residente permanente a través de la CIC como candidato provincial. CIC toma las decisiones finales en todas las aplicaciones de Nominación Provincial de residentes permanentes.

- Para trabajadores extranjeros que tienen una oferta permanente de trabajo a tiempo completo de un empleador en Alberta en una las ocupaciones semi-especializadas.

- Empresas en Alberta dispuestas a contratar un trabajador extranjero semi-calificado de forma permanente y a tiempo completo.

Where to Watch the Royal Wedding Online

Prince William and Kate Middleton are about to exchange vows this Friday, and the world will be watching. It won’t be the first time such an event attracted massive amounts of eyeballs; the last royal wedding was seen by a TV audience of 750 million.

This time around, many more people could follow the event online, as plenty of sites will offer live streams of the wedding. Want to take a peek at the ceremony yourself? Then check out our list of live streams:

YouTube is going to stream the entire ceremony live on the official YouTube channel of the British monarchy, also known as the Royal Channel, starting at 10 a.m. British Summer Time (BST) (2 a.m. PDT / 5 a.m. EDT).

PBS NewsHour coverage of the event will be streamed live by Ustream, starting at 9:30 a.m. BST (1:30 a.m. PDT / 4:30 a.m. EDT).

CBS News anchor Katie Couric will cover the event live from London, and Ustream will broadcast this feed online as well, starting at 9 a.m. BST (1 a.m. PDT / 4 a.m. EDT).

ABC will stream the event anchored by Diane Sawyer and Barbara Walters live on Hulu starting at 9 a.m. BST (1 a.m. PDT / 4 a.m. EDT).

Fox News will have live, ad-free coverage of the entire event on Hulu as well, starting at 10 a.m. BST (2 a.m. PDT / 5 a.m. EDT).

The Associated Press will stream the entire event live online on Livestream.com, starting at 6 a.m. BDT with the arrival of the first guests at the royal palace (Thursday 11 p.m. PDT / Friday 2 a.m. EDT).

CNN will stream “various angles of the day’s events” live on CNN.com as well as through its iPhone, iPad and Android apps starting at 9 a.m. BST (1 a.m. PDT / 4 a.m. EDT).

MSNBC will stream the event online on its site as well, but hasn’t published an exact timeline yet.

ET The Insider.com streams the whole frenzy hosted by Nicole Dabeau on Livestream, starting at 10 a.m. BST (2 a.m. PDT / 5 a.m. EDT).

E! Online will present a live stream of the event on Facebook, enabling users to embed the stream onto their own walls, and E! Mobile will stream to various mobile platforms, starting at 9 a.m. BST (1 a.m. PDT / 4 a.m. EDT).

Popsugar will comment live on dresses, flower arrangements and hair styles on Ustream starting at 8 a.m. BST (12 a.m. PDT / 3 a.m. EDT).

With standard-definition TVs, the rule used to be that viewers would feel comfortable watching a set from a distance of 3 to 6 times the screen size in inches. With HDTV, the resolution is so much better that you can sit closer to a larger TV without noticing the pixels. So with HDTVs, the rule tends to be you can sit anywhere from 1.5 to 3 times the screen size (in inches) for the best experience.

Sony NEX-3 Review

I have spent quite some time with my new Sony NEX-3 mirrorless interchangeable-lens compact shooter (updated to the latest firmware 3.0). So far, after taking several pictures and using different settings, I can confirm what other reviews have covered: attractive design and solid image/video quality offset the occasionally frustrating interface…

Pros

- Small, innovative designs that are still comfortable to hold
- High resolution sensor with excellent ISO performance, both in JPEG and raw is impressive, with noise (and noise reduction in the JPEGs), kept well controlled up to ISO 3200, and giving very usable results even at 6400
- Great build quality (particularly lenses)
- Metal barrelled lenses feel impressive compared to peers
- Tiltable high-resolution screen
- Point-and-shoot interface that provides optional control of aperture
- Interesting extra features such as in-camera HDR and sweep panorama
- Good, clear live view magnification (particularly useful for using non e-mount lenses)
- High quality video mode
- Built-in user guide (Shooting Tips)

Cons

- High ISO capability (a major advantage of its large sensor) unavailable in iAuto mode
- Constant overexposure of images wastes highlight capabilities (and no exposure compensation to correct it in iAuto mode)
- Poor shot-to-shot times (if you want to see a post-shot review image)
- Screw-on flash awkward to attach – have not used it so far
- Auto HDR mode only available in PASM modes
- Live histogram unavailable when making exposure changes

I’ve been debating over the possibility of getting the new MacBook Air vs. a MacBook Pro. After doing some research by asking at the Apple Store guys (useless) and reading different articles, came to the conclusion that the new MBA is the best choice don’t want to get into a Mac vs. PC discussion at this moment

In a summary, here are the top 4 reasons (with help from Macworld):

1. Performance:

Macworld has now published a more thorough set of benchmarks, offering a somewhat more real-world assessment of overall performance using its Speedmark 6.5 benchmarking suite and examining all four standard configurations of the new MacBook Air. Among the most interesting observations made in the study is that the new 13-inch MacBook Air actually slightly outperforms the current-generation 13-inch MacBook Pro, a machine that offers a significantly faster 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo processor as compared to the MacBook Air’s 1.86 GHz version. This comes despite the MacBook Air with its standard 2 GB of RAM being tested against the MacBook Pro with 4 GB of RAM.

2. Smaller Size:

Comparing the 11-inch 1.4GHz MacBook Air to the new 13-inch 1.86GHz MacBook Air, we see the 13-inch system was about 27 percent faster in overall Speedmark 6.5 performance. The new 13-inch MacBook Air was able to display a few frames per second more than the 11-inch MacBook Air in our Call of Duty and CineBench graphics tests, and was faster in Photoshop, HandBrake, CineBench CPU, and MathematicaMark. Duplicating a 1GB file took the same time on all four of the new flash-storage-equipped Airs: 13 seconds.

3. Battery Life:

Compared to their predecessors, the new MacBook Air models show improvement. Looping a movie at full-screen, full brightness and volume set at 1, the 11-inch MacBook Air’s battery ran out of power after 3 hours and 40 minutes. The new 13-inch MacBook Air lasted 4 hours and 25 minutes. The older 2009 2.13GHz Core 2 Duo MacBook Air lasted 3 hours and 5 minutes. 30 DAYS IN STANDBY MODE…

4. Faster Flash Storage:

The flash storage helped the new MacBook Air models hold their own against the 13-inch 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro. The 13-inch 1.86GHz Core 2 Duo MacBook Air earned a Speedmark score that’s just two points higher than the 13-inch 2.4GHz MacBook Pro. The 13-inch 2.4GHz MacBook Pro was 25 percent faster overall than the 11-inch 1.4GHz Core 2 Duo MacBook Air.
